Haha, 2 ft. of snow eh? Our few centimeters here seems very small compared to that!
Heidi is obsessed with catching snowflakes in the air and playing hockey with pieces of ice. My particular favorite is that she puts her head down, opens her mouth and runs so that shes gets a lot of snow on her tongue (she used to do that as a baby with the morning dew
)
As for her food, I know its a very personal and objective subject. Our breeder/Berner rescue feeds her dogs Royal Canin so that is what we have continued with Heidi. She also gets on a daily basis carrots, apples, cheese, cottage cheese, blueberries, pear and/or yogurt on her food as well. Every morning she also gets a small spoonful of flaxseed oil (it does wonders for her coat!!).

really helpful.

scroll down a bit and you'll see. I know many people who are more natural with their diet (ie BARF) but this seems to work for us. Hopefully we can keep our pup as happy and healthy as possible.
