I think i pay around £30 per month for my bernie, all covered with no exclusions, i cant see the point of having an insurance without covering hips, elbows etc.
1st bernie had hip dysplasia
2nd bernie had ocd in the shoulder (died of cancer at 9 years!)

Karen,
Thats good to know about NFU. I am in the USA in Maryland and not sure if it is offered where I am. I'll check. It does seem silly to get the insurance if their are exclusions esp to hip and elbow dysplasia and different cancers. Sorry about your Berner. Was there anything you could do him or her? I must be nuts to want to own a dog that may not live much older than 9 if your lucky. I just had to put my husky cross down. He was 13 and one day. I also have a English Shepherd who is 9. I think I have done my research on this puppy but you just never know.
