We too are having some difficulties deciding. The whole setting up a savings account was the way were going to go, but there's still such a big part of me that's worried about the "what if" for large surgeries and stuff. Like you, I guess ongoing research is still very much required.
Does anyone have opinions or experience with plans that cover everything (such as normal vet visits/vaccinations/ etc) versus only accidents/injuries/disease plans. I realize the premiums and deductables differ, but how much do you really save if you have a healthy dog. I have been quoted between $30-$80 a month which can be $780 a year max. Plus, Berners are more expensive for plans correct?
Any opinions are greatly appreciated
