Our puppy Pudding has been like this on and off since we've had him too!
We feed Hills science plan large breed puppy and it seems to have done the trick, we do give him a probiotic supliment as advised by our vet called Pro-Kolin that helps a lot.... we just give it him whenever he gets a bit 'loose'
Seems like quite a common problem with berners but with there not being that many berners in the uk the vets dont pick up on this very quickly!
