Ollie is now 19 months old and huge! We eventually found that Burns Chicken and Brown Rice suited him best and both of our Bernese are on this now as they are both prone to diarrhoea. I also give them Burns Kelties for treats. I think it's just a case of finding the right food to suit your dog - what suits one might not suit another. It took us a long time to get there and we were just worried there was an underlying problem that was causing the diarrhoea.

The only time Ollie gets diarrhoea now is if he eats something he finds when we're out walking in the woods (he's the worlds worst for this!).

Hope that Pudding gets over his diarrhoea - sounds like you're doing all the right things anyway. You'll probably find things improve as he gets a bit older.

Hi all,
After many trips to the vets with my berner who also had diarrhoea my friend who is a expert in raw feeding got me to switch off kibble and onto a raw diet. He was 4 months at the time. Now 71/2 months. Diarrhoea was gone in 3 days and hasn't had it since. He looks and feels great and just loves his food.
