We had heard and read the expression when they "blow their coat" but we didnt really get it until it happened
. Not that we dont still have fur everywhere, but it is soooooo much better since we got the furminator. I could be a spokes person for them. My husband gave Riley a hair cut this summer. That helped a lot too. He didnt shave him down to the skin or anything, just cut it down a couple of inches. He didnt seem to mind it and he looked really cute
