Congrats on getting your new Bernese puppy! I'm sure you'll find she'll be great with your kids.
Our 2 sons also have autism and learning difficulties and have grown up with Bernese Mountain Dogs. We have 2 Bernese at the moment and they're great with the boys and are very gentle. Berners are fantastic family dogs and they just want to get involved in everything that's going on! Good luck with your pup - look forward to seeing some photos.
