I tell them (it's usually always men she is suspicious of) to just ignore her and after a bit she comes around and likes them. On walks she loves the women and children to pet her but prefers to keep walking past the men but other dogs is another story! She thinks she has to play with every single one and is beyond happy to see them! I'm glad she likes other dogs but... she needs to learn some impulse control
I remember it well Ollie was always running off to see other dogs one minute he was with us the next gone I was very fit a couple of years back, trouble is he would follow the other dogs we were always apologising and bringing him back.
We then started to use a harness and long line, he still wears it when out on free walks, he has some doggie friends that he loves to greet and wander round with. Other dogs he tends to ignore now. This came about when he turned two so in time she will start to focus on you more and new dogs less.
They take a lot longer to grow up.
3 years a young dog, 3 years a good dog, 3 years an old dog and anything else is a blessing.
