Hi everyone,
I have a 7 year old berner...105 lbs...healthy and fit. A couple of things are happening after he eats now: he gets gassy...no need for follow up on that. He also seems to have a little trouble breathing while he eats and for a short time afterwards. He eats from a raised dish and had bloat/GT when he was 1ish. We feed him Orijen 6 fish that is soaked for about 20-30 minutes in warm water. Treats are also made from fish and he gets cucumber, celery, and carrots from time to time in his food.
Any suggestions for feeding an older Berner are welcome.
In the meantime, I am going to try to combat the gas with yogurt added to his food.
