Old marrow bones?
Junior Member
Do you give your dog marrow bones, and how do you prepare them? I've heard of freezing, boiling, filling with peanut butter, etc. I've heard from some people that boiling them can lead them to become brittle and can splinter, and I've also heard that you must boil them to kill any germs from the marrow/meat on them being raw. Any incite as to what you personally do? Thanks in advance,
Jeremy

I give them to Molly frozen straight from the butcher.
Once she's gotten all the marrow out I fill it with PB and freeze it just as a treat.
