Hello
We are looking to get our 9month pup a travel crate (already have a metal one that she sleeps in, but its just really bulky for trips) & we are a bit unsure as to the size/type.

We were looking at a large size (36" long) and a x-lrg size (41" long) in plastic with metal windows. Our Heidi isn't a big girl (only 79lbs right now) so we are worried the x-lrg crate would be too big. The people at the pet store said "Oh a Bernese...she needs the x-lrg" without even a second thought, but was it because they just wanted to sell us the more expensive one?

Its funny, our pup is not going to be the size of a St. Bernard but it feels like we are getting a carrier big enough for one.

Any experience or suggestions is/are welcome
