Hi all,
I am recently a mother of my first Berner. When I got my puppy from the breeder, the breeder fed her purina pro plan. I recently have been weening her off of purina and onto Innova large breed puppy food. I did some research and found that Innova seemed to be a good natural dog food. Does anyone have any other suggestions about dog foods? Do you recommend Innova for Bernese Mountain dogs? |

I've never heard of Innova. We are in Canada and use GO! It's a high quality food and Canadian made which I like.

Our Vet insisted on our Berner being on Large Breed Puppy and after a lot of research we decided on the Innova. She did well on it but recently at a year old we switched to Go Duck formula.

Our breeder sent him home on Eukanuba, but we wanted to switch him to a more natural food. We did Fromm Large Breed Puppy for the first two months that we had him (until about 4 months old) and the last few weeks we switched him over to Fromm Large Breed dog food. So far he is doing really well on it. He still has all his puppy hair, but it seems in really great condition and he hasn't had any stomach issues. Innova was my second choice for dog food. They are both really good brands.

I've recently change my dog's food to raw food. I heard a lot of reviews regarding its advantages.
