Old Mobility Problem

Berner owners should be prepared to cope with a large dog that may have mobility problems at a young age.

Options to help mobility-impaired dogs may include ramps for car or house access and comfortable bedding to help alleviate joint pain.

Is there anything you can do to lessen the onset of the pain itself? I'd be willing to help deal with the problems once they started but I think it would be better to do whatever is possible to make the dog not develop issues for as long as possible.

Mobility problems? Why? Because of their size? Well, this is one sad piece of information. I really love to get my kids a Berner and it would be so sad to see them limping away. Any way we can prevent it from happening?
