Old paw/leg clicking sound?

Hey there again guys… I’ve been reading around on this site a lot lately.. my bernese (Winston) is 7 months now and I realized that when he is walking around sometimes his front leg makes a clicking like sound… it’s at the bottom of his leg like where his “wrist” would be if he were human. It’s not his elbow but the lower joint between his elbow and paw. I’ve read a lot of things on this site about arthritis and stuff. he doesn’t act like hes in pain, and hes not limping or favoring the leg/paw at all. I will be taking him to the vet soon for his check up but I didn’t know if this is a usual thing or from the cold weather. Any info would help very much thanks a lot and have a great weekend

Have the vet check it and insist on it being checked.

the vet and I made a mistake with storm, we just thought he had growing pains and I was over dramatizing it. I wasn't.

If there is a problem the quicker you get it the better.

also you might want to get him on glucosimine. It will help the joints.

I agree that a visit to the vet should be on the top of your "to do" list.

Considering that your dog will grow to be one large breed, any bone and joint defects must be given priority attention now while it is still developing.

Also it's a good step to start your dog on glucosamine and chondroitin supplements such as Glycan-Aid or FlexPet.

The main sign of arthritis is usually pain. I think it's best to consult a vet with that situation.
