I am thinking about getting pet insurance. I would like to know the members thoughts, experiences, & company reviews? Thank you LLTANNER21 for your input. I looked up that company, and in the process, discovered there are alot of companies who offer this product. Any other members have pet insurance?

Yes, we have Embrace pet insurance for our Berner. We got it when he was still a puppy and all they needed was a vet to do an orthopedic exam and sign off on it. We live in Vermont, so not sure where you are if it would work there or not. Our plan doesn't cover neutering, heartworm, etc, but it is an option if you pay more each month. They say they do cover genetic issues such as elbow or hip dysplasia. You can go to their website and get a free quote. We pay about $40/month, but it all depends on how high the deductible is that you choose. We haven't had to use it yet, but I just sent in a claim because our dog got an eye infection.
