A couple of our favorites.
If we didn't know what Nova thought of us going on walks on the treadmill that couldn't include her, this pretty much sums it up. ![]() Whenever her feet hit soft dirt or sand on our walks, she can't really help herself and just wants to run and dig. Here she found a freshly built bike jump and couldn't get enough of it. ![]() |

It's funny how your Nova acts with all of the joy of a puppy, even after 2 years. I think that's so nice. Love the pictures!

I noticed your profile pic is a berner in water. Is that Nova? I love seeing a berner in water. I can not keep storm out of the water, which is causing problems with his skin. we suffer through the summer because he LOVES the water so much.

Frisssel - Yes, she loves water. But we aren't anywhere she can get into it without us taking her to the source of it (lake or beaches nearby). She runs straight for it if she's off leash and knows it's there. We generally hose her down and towel dry her when we get home and haven't had any skin issues (yet).
If we had a pond in the backyard she'd be in it every day I'm sure. We actually had to stop going to one of the dog parks nearby because there is a standing water that collects in a huge mudhole and she heads straight for it regardless of how many other dogs are there to visit. We tried to stay on the other side of the park (which is quite large) but she runs off, stops and looks at us and then bolts straight for it. She comes back several minutes later covered in mud. Funny and frustrating all at once. |
