I have 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs and was wondering if it is normal for them to snort and to snore VERY loudly? Our vet said it was nothing to worry about. Do other Berners have that trait? They also like to stand between our legs and sit on the couch like people do.

My girl snorts alot! especially when she's sniffing things and she also snores sometimes

and sitting between your legs, i thought it was just storm. when he is tired or wants a break on his walk he runs and slams into your legs, then lays down.

I also found that i have more control over him if i have him close to my legs. he will lay down and i stand over him and he is ok with this. I do it when we meet children, better control for me.
