My ten month old puppy has started nipping at me when I go to touch him (put on collar or leash). I tell him "No" in a firm voice and make him sit or lie down but he doesn't seem to be getting the message. Any advice?

My gracies used to roll on her back and nip at me whenever I tried taking her somewhere by holding her collar.
It was VERY frustrating and lasted MONTHs before she caught on to the fact that if she did this I WOULD WIN even if I had to lay on the ground and hoist her big fat heavy body with all my might to get her inside.

She now RARELY does it anymore because she has figured out I won't give up.
