Winston is almost 17 months old, and I'm finding that he is starting to roll onto his back (alot), and fall asleep this way. Anyone else BMD do this?

Just wondering?

ps....then he starts snoring!

My dog is 9 monthes old and snores he dose lie on his back to.We had another berner who passed never did this.

My 12 week old almost always sleeps on his back!

All of the time! Anytime she is on the couch with us and lays down, you can bet within a minute is on her back! She just LOVES it. When she is on the floor though, she will just lie on her side. She contorts herself though in the strangest positions, it always makes us laugh. It always amazes us how small she crunches herself up sometimes at 85 pounds!

My 7 months old does it vey often, just like my chocolate Lab..it appears to be comfortable to them...

Brewster is 9 weeks old (10 on Wednesday) and he has slept on his back since the day we brought him home. He loves his belly rubbed too so its hard to tell if hes awake and trying to get your attention to scratch his belly, or if he just rolled over in his sleep lol. First BMD we have owned, and truly the best natured dog we have ever had. We are very pleased with him. He is a mix 1/2 BMD and 1/2 black lab but has more BMD traits then the lab. I would be more then willing to seriously look into a pure bread in the future if this is what these dogs are all about. A lot of love and a lot of fun.

I know this thread is older but all 3 of my berners love to sleep and play on their backs

I have a 5 month old Berner and he sleeps on his back probably 20% of the time, he seemed to do it a lot more when we first got him tho. His name is also Winston.
