Old Over-eager pup

I have an extremely bright 7 month-old male who is so eager to show what he knows that as soon as we start a mini training moment he runs through his whole routine. I never give the commands/requests in the same order, so I know he isn't just repeating a routine. I don't want to dampen his enthusiasm but I'm afraid I'm not teaching him fast enough or giving him enough mental challenges. He sits, stays in a long down, plays a hand game to find a treat, waits, comes around, plays hide and seek, and I take him to my middle school classroom to help kids - I love this dog!
He's still too young to pull weight - Any other suggestions?

AW WH]hat a sweetheart! HE sounds a lot like our female Mirabelle. She is so smart and loves training more than anything. A couple of years ago, we enrolled her in a Rally Obedience class. That was one of the best things we could have done for her. She loves it! She moved quickly through intermediate to advanced and Saturdays are by far her favorite day of the week. We are also joining a drill team to start using her rally skills in a different way. Your pup is absolutely too young to pull but Rally-O or freestyle could do the trick!

Awww, wow your dog seems like he is very smart. I want to start training my male puppy Stanly as well. I want to start with the basics, and make our way up to the top and maybe even start water training, but Stanly really does not seem to excited about anything even during play time. Can this be because, were always playing with the same things, doing the same things. Do you think my dog finds me boring and does not want to show any interest in our activities together? I want to something fun and exciting for the both of us.
