hi i have a 7 month old bernese mountain dog, who is sort of turning away his food, before he would get excited and want it but now he will just sit down and we have to encourage him to get it, this is over the last 2 days, and this morning when he got his breakfast he was in the garden and started heaving and got a little bit sick, when he came in, he would not eat his breakfast for a while but he did eat it after a while, any suggestions please on whats happening here

Hi sorry to hear that Barney is not well if this has been going for longer than 24 hours and after each meal he does eat he is vomiting within 30 minutes I would get him straight to the Vet as he could have a foreign object lodged. We had this problem with ours but thankfully after to attempts of being sick after each meal he brought the foreign object up our bernese are notorious for eating things they should not just yesterday ours got hold of a soft mouse cat toy had no idea she had got hold of it until sure enough she ate and within a couple of hours after her second lot of food she brought it up yuck she would also eat grass. I hope Barney is on the mend soon.
