I wanted to go last year, but didn't make it...might try again this year as by then I'll have 2 BMD to take with.

Check it out...

I'm in Milford and would LOVE to take my little guy and march. Can you get details or put me in contact with the organizers? Email me?

Hi!
I read several posts that mentioned a Berner Parade in CT. My husband and I are the organizers of the Bernese Mountain Dog Parade in Ridgefield,CT.
This year is our 15th annual parade down Ridgefield's charming Main Street.
Last year we had approximately 150 Berners join us and we hope to have even bigger crowd this year! It is a fun informal event with no need for registering, etc...everyone just comes and enjoys an afternoon of Berner fellowship!
This year our parade will take place on Saturday, October 10th from 1:00-3:00. We meet at St. Stephen's Church, at 351 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT. We have a blessing of the animals by St. Stephen's rector, take a group photo (happy chaos!), walk down Main Street, and then return to the church grounds for a potluck picnic together.
We welcome all Berners and their families...in past years they have come from all over New England, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York...please join us!
If anyone has any questions they can contact me at patti@neumannrealestate.com or 203-470-9933. We hope to see many members of BernerTalk!
