Hello to everyone on here we are currently owned by 2 danes and we are soon to get a bernese Puppy she is only 2 weeks old right now.
Have never owned a Bernese a before so any tips/ suggestions etc would be very helpful .
We can not wait to get her

Hello...welcome to the thread! And congrats on getting a new Berner (soon )

We also live in Ontario (near London) and are proud owners for almost a year now (our Heidi is still a big puppy ).

The breed is amazing, we are so in love! Our girl is one giant teddy bear, but still has A LOT of energy, so keep up the training, keep it fun and take lots of pictures. Our girl liked to eat everything in sight (rocks, paper, plants) so our advice is to reinforce the leave it command. We also did a lot of obedience (puppy, intermediate, some agility) due to a high energy level and pure enjoyment. Heidi LOVES having a job to do. Also, socialization is a big bonus if you start it early and be consistent. Getting berners used to strange noises, people and places helps when they get older.

Love the names, Geneva was on our list too...which will most likely be our 2nd Berner
