Hi, I've only just found this forum, despite the fact I have had Bernese for 12 years!! We very sadly lost our first delightful girl aged 6 years. Poor Kasher was diagnosed with the dreaded histiocytosis and despite every effort and the best veterinary care she lost her battle. We were devastated, but with empty hearts and an even emptier home we decided we needed another Bernese in our lives. We were very lucky to find Kelci and travelled to Ireland to choose and bring her back home aged 7 weeks. Last month she celebrated her 6th birthday. Both girls have given us tremendous love and it is an absolute delight to share our lives with this beautiful breed.
Got to go now - there is a pair of beautiful brown eyes staring at me and a paw thumping me - I think its teatime!!!!
