My girlfriend and I are new here. We have a 7 month old berner name Chewy...which might've been a bad choice of names lol. So far he's eaten 3 socks, part of the wall(after we fixed up our place), a pair of underwear, and a few smaller things. We now realize how important with berners it is to keep a bottle of peroxide at the ready. You never know when you need to induce vomiting when they get into something.

We couldn't be happier to have gotten him, he's the most unique dog we could've ever asked for, but we're realizing now that it's the breed after reading some of the other posts on here. He's our first berner and def won't be the last, we're def in love with the breed

Here's some pics of our boy(the first one was when he was younger, last two are recent)

How CUTE !!!! There definitely is something different and special about the breed. Riley is our first also, but I cant imagine not having a Bernese again.

Good luck with the chewing...It took almost a year for us. It included 2 TV remotes, a flash light with batteries, a glass bowl of nuts, numerous socks, and magazines! lol But it does get better. They are just like kids. If you take your eyes off them for 5 minutes.......... But worth every bit!
