Hello everyone. I am 28 years old just got married at the end of September and we decided on getting a Bernese mountain dog as our wedding gift to each other. His name is Winston, and he is about 5 months old. We have never owned a Bernese before and this guy definitely made a great impression with us. I am very excited to take him out and get him playing in the snow this winter. I look forward to talking to everyone on this site and getting info or asking questions.

Congrats on your marriage and your new buddy!!! They are incredible dogs and love the snow (just watch your socks, underwear, remotes, etc when they are young.....they grow out of it though). Welcome to berner talk as well, lots of great info on here and great people who are always willing to help and absolutley adore berners. Once again welcome and congrats on both counts!

BTW....he is such a handsome boy!!!!

Thanks a lot for the info. He sure does love socks, and shoes. I try to keep him busy with toys and stuff, I get a little worried giving him rawhides and stuff that he could choke on or could mess his belly up.
