Hello everyone!

I am currently awaiting an e-mail or phone call to tell me when we'll be new Berner parents (either this current litter or an upcoming one!) I have been researching the breed for a while, and narrowed down my list of breeders, finally doing a visit yesterday with my husband.

We fell in love, especially with one "little" boy... I contacted the breeder this morning with our intent to purchase and am just waiting for a message back.

Our *potential* new member of the family is a 4-month-old puppy and he is oh-so-sweet! We were completely impressed by the gentleness of the adults we met, as well as the puppies.

Right now, our family has two Cockers (Maddie & Gunner - both fixed,) two cats (Harry & Jack,) four children (ages 19, 15, 11, and 8,) plus my husband and I. The puppy will be loved by many more as well!

I'm going to need advice on toys and possible names once the time arrives... but until then, I'll say "Hello" and continue reading the forums.

Teresa

Well, it's official! We are the proud owners of a beautiful Berner pup!

Got the e-mail and call from the breeder to discuss our options, and went with the "little guy" my husband and I fell in love with during our visit. We'll be picking him up Monday, so between now and then, I'm going to be super busy puppy-proofing the house, getting toys and food, and figuring out a name...
