Hi,
My partner and I are new parents to a beautiful bernese. She is 4 months old and absolutely adorable. Ofcourse we can't walk anywhere without being mobbed by people wanting a cuddle. She loves attention! ![]() We have never had a bernese before (in fact I am a first time mum for any dog) but we are very happy with our choice. She has such a lovely temperment and we love spending time with her. Be great to hear any tips or suggestions about how to raise bernese puppies, and what we have to look forward to as she gets older. Thanks |

She is soooooo gorgeous!!! Congrats on your new addition!!!
As far as I'm concerned you cannot go wrong with a berner. They can be a bit mischievious as puppies though. They hate to be left alone and if there is something they can get ahold of to let you know they are displeased....they will! Even walls can be a target. If She has rope toys, make sure that you keep an eye on it and if it starts to come apart get rid of it right away (our girl got very lucky to avoid a blockage with a rope at a young age). Keep all clothing in a place she cannot get to......our girl used to try to eat any clothing she could find....socks , pj's, underwear etc. Once again Congrats and Good luck!!!! |
