Hi there
Brit expat in Belgium here, had our 12 week old BMD boy for nearly 3 weeks now! very sweet and fluffy. Very sensitive, very intelligent, very cuddly =) no problems with him but plenty of questions to make sure I'm doing the right thing by him =) Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself =) Will read lots and lots here before asking, in case it's already been answered. Merry Christmas! Darren |

Merry Christmas! Darren Hello, What a wonderful thing a Bernese Mt. Dog puppy. Enjoy him. Just remember don't let him get fat and roly poly eventhough it's cute and take it slow. You don't want him to grow to fast. I adore my two Berners. Merry Christmas Katie |

I'm onto him =)
I know he would vacuum all the food in the world up if he had the choice =) a certain angel Labradorian taught me well. It's called tough love. Gotta do the right thing for their greater good =) He's such a sweet little being. I'm not sure who chose who though =) it just happened. |

Just the cutest thing alive. Makes me want another one but I think the husband would not be to happy with me lol. Try taking him lots of places. They do need socialization and the more they are exposed to the better they handle stuff. I have one who is very outgoing and my other boy is a bit more serious and shy. We have worked on that alot and he is coming around. It helps to have the outgoing one with us. It is like his security blanket. Take lots of pictures, they grow big to fast Katie |

=) I take him EVERYWHERE! he proudly struts his fluffy stuff past people, dogs, buses, trams, kids, ducks, cats, chickens... and he's making me really proud. Way more intelligent and (so far without hormones fizzing through his body) willing than I would have anticipated.
When I reach out to touch him, he just rolls over and stretches his legs out so that I have more to tickle. He is a confirmed comfortologist too... so tempting to let him on the sofa or in the bed, but foresight tells me he's going to get mahoosive and very hairy, so start as I mean to go on! no no no (I tell myself). |

Oh that is so true! I take Milo everywhere too! And I would expect Belgium is as dog friendly as Amsterdam is! Indi is so cute!! |
